The Pearl B. Larsen Elementary School held an assembly in commemoration of Black History Month and Virgin Islands History Month on Friday, March 15, in the school’s auditorium.
The assembly included an African/Cultural fashion show where teachers, faculty and the PBL Royal Court strutted across the stage wearing fashions from local brand Omega Rising. After the fashion show classes from each grade level performed different acts such as singing, dancing, reciting poetry and story telling inspired by African American history or VI culture and history.
